Reflection - RnD1 - Resubmission
I've modified my original submission of my RnD1 to suit Shaun's suggestions for my resubmission.
Think / Feel / Decisions - Tell us how the above activity made you think, how the activity made you feel, and your reasons for the decisions you made.
My thoughts on this is that this is necessary. My work on my original submission was disappointing at most. What did I feel about that? Disappointed in myself, as I usually am when it comes to not doing enough work. The decisions I made for my resubmission (hopefully) match what shaun suggested, and my work was all to hopefully allow me to pass.
Analyse - Look at the work that has emerged and break it down to each of its contributing elements; does each element contribute to the whole? How can the work be read? What do you take from the work? What might we see as your viewer take from the work? Is the intent behind the work communicated?
Hopefully, my work contributes to my ability to pass. The work is accessed through my blog, of course, and I take what I say in the posts in question. My intent is hopefully communicated, because it's rather obvious what I've been trying to achieve.
Evaluate - What are the works strengths and what are the works weaknesses?
Strengths and weaknesses are really per post. What I did, obviously, is a benefit for me in general (I hope). My weaknesses however, are very apparent, with the lack some of the original pieces which I lost, and didn't have pictures of them before I lost them. Luckily, they are not all missing, and some of the original works are still there.
Next Steps - What are your next steps? How do you take the strengths within the work forward and how do you exclude any weaknesses?
To wish for the best - I'll try and learn from my mistakes and get better with my time management, which is easily the thing I'm worst at.
